Machines, applications, and planning

Structural Tube & Profile Laser Cutting

Connect the production requirement to the right machine family, exact configuration, facility plan, delivery scope, ownership path, and technical resources.

Structural profiles require geometry, weight and handling review

Structural tube-laser applications can include square and rectangular tube, pipe, channel, angle, beam and formed profiles. The project must account for maximum section, corner-to-corner envelope, wall thickness, weight, stock length, straightness, twist, seam, loading, support and finished-part handling.

Part features

  • Through-cuts, slots, tabs, holes, copes, miters, notches, bevels and weld-preparation features.
  • Feature position around corners and near weld seams.
  • Part length, tail strategy, drop handling and required tolerance.

Machine configuration

Confirm chuck type and capacity, jaws, pressure, support rollers, sag compensation, loading system, controller, tube nesting, seam orientation, bevel axes when required, extraction and floor length.

Material behavior

Large or thin-wall profiles can deform under clamping. Long stock can sag, twist or vibrate. Actual profile samples and weight should be used for application engineering.

Request a structural-profile review.

Planning pathway

Connect the requirement to the complete machine project

Application and capacity

Define material, geometry, thickness or capacity, production volume, quality, workflow, and future work.

Machine and facility

Compare configuration, controller, options, utilities, extraction, footprint, access, unloading, and placement.

Ownership and support

Confirm price path, delivery, startup, training, warranty, service, parts, financing, rental, used, or trade-in options.
