Successful machine delivery starts before the carrier is booked. UmproTech uses the equipment configuration and site details to define the shipping and placement scope for each project.
Information needed for a delivery plan
- Destination ZIP code and commercial or residential address type
- Dock, grade-level, forklift, crane, and doorway access
- Machine dimensions, shipping weight, and crate count
- Appointment, limited-access, or inside-delivery requirements
- Final machine location and floor/path conditions
Freight is not the same as rigging
Carrier delivery, unloading, rigging, final placement, electrical connection, commissioning, and training are separate scope items unless the written quote says otherwise.
At delivery
Inspect the shipment before signing. Photograph the crate and visible damage, note exceptions on the delivery receipt, and contact UmproTech promptly. Do not operate damaged equipment until it has been reviewed.
