If the machine presents fire, smoke, uncontrolled motion, exposed laser radiation, electrical hazard, hydraulic failure or another immediate danger, stop operation and isolate the equipment when it is safe to do so under the machine manual and your employer’s procedure. Exact fault: complete alarm text or code, symptom, when it began and whether it is constant or intermittent.

Recent changes: collision, parameter change, software update, power event, relocation, maintenance, replacement part or prior repair.

Evidence: nameplate photographs, alarm screenshots, short videos, logs, manuals, wiring diagrams and prior service records.

Facility and access: voltage, phase, supply condition, air, gas, cooling, extraction, lifting and lockout requirements.

How the service process works
- The request is reviewed for machine identity, safety state and enough evidence to begin triage.
- The machine and major components are identified before parts or travel are recommended.
- Available documentation is used to establish a diagnostic plan and required tools.
- Remote checks may be proposed for qualified on-site personnel when a safe rollback path exists.
- If on-site work is appropriate, travel, labor, tools, access, parts and customer responsibilities are stated in writing.
- No additional repair or replacement part is authorized outside the agreed scope without customer approval.
- The completed work, remaining restrictions and recommended next actions are documented at closeout.
Written scope before dispatch
On-site availability depends on machine type, technician capability, parts, tools, travel, facility access and current scheduling. Response timing, travel cost, labor rate, minimum service time, cancellation terms, parts and exclusions are confirmed in a written service estimate or authorization before dispatch.
Warranty and RMA review
A service request is not automatically a warranty claim. Eligibility, issuer, covered component, start date, remedy, labor, travel, freight, exclusions and customer responsibilities are controlled by the written warranty and machine-specific sales documents.
