Machines, applications, and planning
Connect the production requirement to the right machine family, exact configuration, facility plan, delivery scope, ownership path, and technical resources.
Press-brake tonnage classes cannot be compared without material tensile strength, thickness, bend length, V-opening, bending method, tooling load, inside radius and flange requirement.
Commonly reviewed for light-to-medium fabrication and shorter or thinner bends within the selected tooling and working length. It can be a compact, lower-cost choice when the worst bend is calculated.
Adds capacity margin for a broader material and bend-length mix, but the working length, frame geometry, tooling, controller and axes still determine suitability.
Reviewed for heavier mixed fabrication and longer production bends. Long-bed deflection, crowning, tooling load, material handling, floor, rigging and safety become more significant.
A higher-tonnage machine can still fail the application if the daylight, stroke, throat, frame clearance, backgauge, tooling or minimum flange is wrong. It can also damage underrated tooling if force is concentrated improperly.
Submit drawings and material data for a reviewed tonnage and tooling calculation.
Planning pathway
Define material, geometry, thickness or capacity, production volume, quality, workflow, and future work.
Compare configuration, controller, options, utilities, extraction, footprint, access, unloading, and placement.
Confirm price path, delivery, startup, training, warranty, service, parts, financing, rental, used, or trade-in options.
