Machine service and support

Industrial Machine Calibration & Accuracy Checks

Identify the machine, issue, location, production impact, parts need, installation requirement, training need, or warranty question.

Separate machine repeatability from finished-part accuracy

Calibration verifies selected machine references and motion relationships under stated conditions. Finished-part accuracy also depends on material, tooling, temperature, workholding, process parameters, operator method and inspection technique.

Possible checks

  • Axis home and reference repeatability, travel, backlash, squareness, straightness and positioning.
  • Fiber-laser focus, nozzle centering, capacitive height control, gantry geometry and representative cut results.
  • Press-brake Y1/Y2 parallelism, ram depth, X/R/Z backgauge reference, tooling alignment, crowning and representative bends.
  • CNC mill or lathe geometry, spindle condition, backlash, tool offsets, probing and representative parts.
  • Band-saw blade tracking, vise alignment, feed, squareness and cut condition.

Acceptance record

The service record should identify instruments, environmental conditions, test method, reference standard, measured values, adjustments, sample material and remaining limitations. Calibration does not increase the machine beyond its design, condition or tooling capability.

Request calibration or accuracy review.
