Machine service and support

Laser Cleaning Machine Repair & Diagnostics

Identify the machine, issue, location, production impact, parts need, installation requirement, training need, or warranty question.

Diagnose the optical system and the cleaning application

Laser-cleaner service reviews the source, cleaning head, scan motor, optics, controller, chiller, delivery fiber, extraction, electrical supply and the contaminant/substrate combination.

Common service categories

  • Laser source enable, output, temperature, communication and alarm faults.
  • Cleaning-head trigger, scanner, lens, protective window, connector, cable and delivery-fiber problems.
  • Scan-width, pattern, frequency, speed, overlap, standoff and recipe issues.
  • Chiller flow, temperature, coolant, filter, pump and condensation alarms.
  • Low cleaning rate, uneven cleaning, substrate heating, discoloration, roughness change or residual contamination.
  • Extraction, hazardous coating, plume, spark and fire-control problems.

Application boundary

Unknown paint, plating, oil, coating or contamination requires SDS and hazard review. CW cleaning is not equivalent to pulsed precision cleaning and can heat or alter the substrate. Sample validation should define the accepted finish and rate.
