Machines, applications, and planning
Connect the production requirement to the right machine family, exact configuration, facility plan, delivery scope, ownership path, and technical resources.
A laser-cleaning quote should identify the rust, oxide, paint, coating, oil, residue or contamination; substrate material and thickness; allowed heat, roughness and discoloration; area or seam length; production target; portability; extraction; and disposal requirements.
Pulsed systems are commonly reviewed for precision, controlled heat input and sensitive surfaces. Continuous-wave systems are commonly reviewed for higher average-power production cleaning where the substrate and accepted thermal effect allow it. Neither is universally better; representative sample testing controls the choice.
Confirm source, cleaning head, scan patterns and widths, lens sets, delivery fiber, chiller or air cooling, controller, recipes, extraction, spark control, protective optics, electrical service and consumables.
Unknown paint, plating, lead, chromium, oil, chemicals or coatings require SDS, air-quality, fire and waste review. Laser cleaning can create airborne contaminants and reflected Class 4 laser radiation.
Record substrate, contaminant, thickness, passes, power, scan width, speed, standoff, temperature, accepted finish and rate. Do not buy from a generic rust-removal claim alone.
Planning pathway
Define material, geometry, thickness or capacity, production volume, quality, workflow, and future work.
Compare configuration, controller, options, utilities, extraction, footprint, access, unloading, and placement.
Confirm price path, delivery, startup, training, warranty, service, parts, financing, rental, used, or trade-in options.
