Machines, applications, and planning

Fiber Laser Maintenance Checklist

Connect the production requirement to the right machine family, exact configuration, facility plan, delivery scope, ownership path, and technical resources.

Use the machine manual and environment to set the interval

Maintenance frequency depends on shifts, material, dust, fumes, ambient conditions, compressed-air quality, gas, coolant, consumables and machine design. The exact manual and service records control.

Daily checks

  • Protective window, nozzle, ceramic, head exterior, gas path and cutting result.
  • Chiller temperature, flow, coolant level, alarms and leaks.
  • Compressed air, gas supply, pressure, dryer and filters.
  • Slag trays, table, scrap, extraction and fire risk.
  • Lubrication alarms, unusual sound, vibration, smell, cable or hose damage and safety devices.

Weekly and monthly checks

  • Nozzle centering, focus and capacitive-height performance.
  • Guides, racks, pinions, reducers, bellows, lubrication points and axis cleanliness.
  • Electrical cabinet filters, fans, terminals and grounding under qualified procedure.
  • Chiller filters, coolant condition, condenser or air path and environmental cleanliness.
  • Programs, parameters, software licenses and backups.

Periodic service

Plan coolant replacement, filter changes, lubrication-system service, geometry and axis checks, extraction service, gas inspection, spare optics, nozzle and ceramic stock, controller backup, safety inspection and representative cut verification.

Do not open the laser source, disconnect the delivery fiber, bypass interlocks or clean internal optics without approved procedures and qualified personnel.

Request a maintenance review.

Planning pathway

Connect the requirement to the complete machine project

Application and capacity

Define material, geometry, thickness or capacity, production volume, quality, workflow, and future work.

Machine and facility

Compare configuration, controller, options, utilities, extraction, footprint, access, unloading, and placement.

Ownership and support

Confirm price path, delivery, startup, training, warranty, service, parts, financing, rental, used, or trade-in options.
