Can a Fiber Laser Cut Tube, or Do I Need a Tube Laser?

Some fiber-laser configurations can cut tube, but a flat-sheet machine is not automatically a tube laser.

A combined sheet-and-tube system may fit low-to-moderate tube volume when the supported diameter, length, weight, profile, and chuck arrangement match the parts. A dedicated tube laser is usually the better production tool when tube work is frequent, geometries are complex, loading must be automated, or throughput is critical.
